We've launched bespoke portfolio modelling functionality that is set to transform the appraisals process for complex portfolio transactions.
Developed in response to demand from investor clients, it eliminates the need to aggregate data from multiple sources, and can reduce time spent on financial modelling by around 95%. This new functionality has been tested in-market and developed over the past year. It offers dynamic portfolio scenario analysis and allows users to immediately see the impact of including or excluding individual properties on portfolio returns.
Whereas investors and financiers have typically relied on a system of aggregating data on multiple properties, our portfolio model is tailor made for this purpose and offers completely customisable portfolio reporting. Not only does this remove the potential for error associated with working from legacy models, it also dramatically reduces the resource required to complete a portfolio review.
Analysis that might previously have taken a full working week of input can now be delivered with more accuracy and enhanced functionality within just two hours. This makes it easier and quicker to make informed judgement calls based on the prevailing market conditions, or performance of individual properties within a portfolio.
Pete Rose, our chief revenue officer says: “This is one of the most exciting product launches of Forbury’s 20-year history. We know there is demand for it because it’s been developed in conjunction with our customers. And we know it works because it’s been rigorously tested by the same customers. The exponential time saving benefits of this system cannot be overstated and it truly has the potential to transform the way in which investment teams make transactional decisions.
As ongoing market uncertainty is encouraging a flight to quality, we are likely to see increased competition for best-in-class portfolios. This product will radically transform how investors can appraise these opportunities and will empower them to make quicker and better informed decisions”.
